Masterson’s Pub , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its entrance was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I walked in , it was immediately obvious that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms permeated the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of urine , putrefaction and a sickly smell. During my time there, I noticed how uneasy several women seemed around Cornwell. As I looked into it more , I was appalled to find numerous complaints against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women citing incidents of distributing inappropriate messages . Described as overly aggressive and boundary-crossing , Peter Cornwell’s behavior has created an intimidating space for women who visit Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often resembled that of a predatory presence than a welcoming host .

Rather than addressing the issue to mitigate the damage done by her husband’s actions, she appears to condone his behavior.
